New here? Start with βWhat is CodeVaultEx?β Looking to connect an exchange? See the step-by-step connect guide.
A marketplace where you can rent winning trading bots without ever touching their code. Creators upload a bot; we run it sealed on our servers and publish its verified, independently-recorded track record. You subscribe, connect your own exchange (or just take the signals), and the bot trades your account. Creators keep their IP; renters get results β no downloads, no copies, no screenshots to trust.
Those sell you a file and a screenshot. Here the code never leaves the vault, and the performance you see is recorded by us from real execution β not typed in by the seller. You're renting a result, backed by a track record that can't be faked.
No. As a renter you just pick a bot, connect an exchange (or choose signals-only), and set your risk limits. Coding only matters if you want to list your own bot.
Open a bot, click Subscribe, choose monthly or yearly, set your capital and risk limits, and check out. Then either connect a trade-only exchange key (so it trades for you) or run it signals-only and place the trades yourself.
Signals-only: the bot tells you what it would trade; you place the orders. No API key needed. Live execution (Full auto): you connect a trade-only API key and the bot places the trades automatically in your own account. Auto-execution runs on our crypto exchanges today; stocks, forex & prediction venues (Alpaca, OANDA, Tradier, Kalshi, IBKR) are signals-only for now β when you subscribe to a bot on one of those, we lock you to Signals and auto-execution there is rolling out.
Never. CodeVaultEx is non-custodial. Your funds stay in your own exchange/broker account. We only ever place trades β we never request withdrawals. As long as you create your API key with withdrawals turned off (our connect guide shows how for each exchange), funds cannot leave your account β not by us, the bot, or an attacker.
Follow the connect guide for your exchange. The golden rule: enable trading but never withdrawals. Your key is encrypted at rest, used only to place the strategy's trades, and you can revoke it on your exchange anytime.
Not if you create the key as instructed (withdrawals off). A trade-only key can buy and sell inside your account but cannot move money out. That's the whole point of the setup.
You pay the creator's subscription (monthly or yearly), plus usage-based compute for running your copy. Your first 7 days of compute are free. Some bots offer a free trial or a paper-only sample first.
No one can promise that β past performance does not guarantee future results, and all trading carries risk of loss. What we can guarantee is that the track record you see is real and that the bot runs exactly as shown. Start small, use the risk limits, and never trade money you can't afford to lose.
Yes. When you subscribe you set your capital, max position size, and a max-drawdown cutoff. If drawdown is hit, the bot is halted for your account.
Cancel anytime from your dashboard β you keep access until the period you've paid for ends. Subscriptions are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law; if we stop a bot on you mid-period, we pro-rate a refund automatically.
A watchdog monitors every bot and the gateway. If something fails, live bots are paused safely rather than left running blind, and you're notified. Because funds are in your own account, you always retain direct control on your exchange.
Upload a .zip (with main.py) or connect a git repo. Your bot places trades through our thin SDK β usually a ~2-line change. We build it into a sealed sandbox, run it to build a verified track record, and publish it. You set the price; buyers subscribe; you get paid.
No. Your source runs in an isolated container with a read-only mount and locked-down permissions, and is never downloadable by buyers. Access is limited to our automated build-and-run system; we don't share, sell, or repurpose your code. You keep 100% of the IP unless you choose to sell it outright.
Two ways, and we label which one each bot used. Live-verified (the strongest): the bot executes on a real connected exchange account through our SDK, and we record the actual fills and settlements from the exchange's own ledger β attributed to the exact orders we placed for it. Because the record comes from the exchange rather than the creator, it can't be faked. Paper-verified: before going live, a bot can be run at real market prices (with estimated fees/slippage), every simulated trade recorded and clearly marked as paper (no real money). Either way the number is computed by us, never typed in by the seller.
Payments run through Stripe Connect. Buyers pay, our platform fee (10%) is deducted automatically, and the rest lands in your connected account. Payouts have a short hold so disputes can be handled.
Hosting is usage-based β we size and run your bot and charge only for the compute it uses. Your first 30 days are free, then it's netted from your earnings. You can also apply referral credit to hosting bills.
Yes β optionally set a price to sell the source code (the buyer receives and owns it) or to sell ownership of the listing (they earn the rentals; code stays in the vault). You can offer renting, selling, or both.
Python bots via the SDK today. Full auto-execution (the bot places trades for you) runs on our crypto exchanges β Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Binance.US, Bitstamp, Crypto.com, plus 100+ more via ccxt (Binance, OKX, Bybit, KuCoin, Gate, MEXC, Bitget, HTX, BingX, Phemex, Deribit and others). Stocks, forex & prediction markets β Alpaca, OANDA, Tradier, Kalshi, Interactive Brokers β are verification & signals-only today: we verify your real fills and the bot sends you signals you place yourself; hands-off auto-execution for those is rolling out. Wallet-based venues (Hyperliquid, Polymarket) aren't connectable yet.
Refer someone and you earn $15 in site credit when they subscribe; new referred users get $10. Credit applies to your CodeVaultEx hosting/compute bills β it isn't cash and isn't withdrawable.
Exchange keys are encrypted at rest (AES-GCM) and used only to place trades. Bots run sealed with no outbound internet except through our monitored gateway. We never put personal or key data in URLs, and we never ask for your exchange password β only a scoped API key.
No. CodeVaultEx is a hosting and marketplace platform, not a financial adviser or broker. Nothing here is investment advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss; only you decide what to run and how much to risk.
